It has been pretty gloomy lately, but today, the sun decided to show up and it was amazing.
Panda’s Baby Shower
Just a sneak peak of this amazing baby shower that I had a chance to shoot 🙂
What a beautiful and amazing family– and they cannot wait to meet you Panda!
Engagement shoot
Hey guys!
Long time no post and I feel horrible that I am sort of letting my blogging slip.
Life gets to you though I guess, work, relationships, hobbies, school…
However, it feels great to say that it’s been awesome since the last time I posted a blog on this.
First of all, I got engaged, woohoo! Then, I shot my first wedding as a second shooter, that was a cool experience. Then, I had engagement photos done, that was scary at first but ended up pretty fun. And finally, had time to shoot an engagement.
So here are some from the day, I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed shooting them!
By the way, this is John and Kat… Aren’t they gorgeous in these photos!!
Mav & Gilbert
If I could, I would like to just do photoshoots all day long.
If only I had an endless amount of space in my SD card, an endless amount of battery life and a lifetime of beautiful weather and sunsets..
Anyway, hope you enjoy my practice shoots. 🙂
Maternity Shoot
All excited to meet baby #2!
So happy to announce that I finally invested in another newer camera and they were of course my guinea pigs 🙂 But how lovely did this shoot turn out!!
It was honestly so exciting to do this with them again and I couldn’t sleep the night before. All I could think of was my plans for the shoot and what I wanted it to look like and how I wanted it to turn out.
THIS was more beautiful than what I expected.
Milestones
So I haven’t really been updating my photography blog and that sucks because so much has happened since I last added anything into this.
I have finally spent time with all of my siblings together, and I mean all 4 of them together – in one place, after i don’t even know… 5 years maybe? It’s been such an awesome year, my mom finally got her house, turned 50 this year and we finally had a WHOLE FAMILY trip together.
So, just to I guess show you all how much we’ve grown over the years…
Pretty embarrassing… On the other hand, we turned out better over time just like fine wine.
Anyway, I had a bit of troubles on the brightness of the beach – photography wise. So, in all these photos, I literally put my settings to the lowest ISO and cranked up my shutter speed in case you guys were wondering… & of course, Lightroom is my best friend!
Besides family photos, of course I have some other random candid ones of my family’s trip 🙂 Hope you enjoy them!
Gil #30
I usually love watching my boyfriend play basketball, and just recently… I thought.. why not photograph it (in case I want to show my future kids what a basketball star their father was) haha!
Anyway, who would have thought that they would end up looking so awesome!
So for people who want to take photos of their kids’ basketball games, or any sport for that matter.. I’m just using the setting for sports on my camera with a shutter speed of 1/250 or 1/500. Then I just snap away, I also used m/a focus just because I’m blind from a far. Good luck!
Lastly, don’t get so into it as well that you forget to give them a hand when they make a score, goal, etc… (It’s hard to multitask like that when you get so into the zone with your camera) (:
Mercy’s 24th Birthday
2 & a half months!
Look at how tiny and cute his little converse socks are!
He definitely loves his tummy time (:
I think he’s showing off his muscles in this picture, haha!
AHHH! I can’t even tell you how in love I am with these baby photos! I can only imagine how many photos my future babies will have if they’re this cute… He is so adorable! We love you handsome boy ❤
Welcome to Australia Chelsea & Suzy!
I haven’t been back home to California in almost 3 years and so, I haven’t seen my bestfriends at all. But one lucky Christmas, one of my bestfriend’s mom (Suzy) had a flight from California to Australia with a 24 hour layover & it just so happens that Chelsea was able to find an empty seat to tag along. So…. after 5 years, I finally got to see her!
Welcome & Thank You for coming to visit me! Love you both!
